JACKY DELLA VEDOVA
My name is Jacky Della Vedova and I am a Reflexologist based in Wimbledon and Southfields where I live with my husband and three children. My personal journey with reflexology started two decades ago as I looked for alternate ways to help cope with study, work and planning a family.
I have always enjoyed caring and looking after people and after a 15 year career as an adult nurse I decided to pursue my passion for reflexology.
I am particularly passionate about women’s health and have personally experienced the benefits of reflexology and find that it is incredibly therapeutic and supportive emotionally. I believe that by having experienced life’s pressures - working long hours, late nights, commuting, as well as trying to maintain a work-life balance enables me to relate to many of my clients and understand how daily stresses can have a negative effect on our general health and wellbeing.
In January 2021 I returned to the NHS as a Clinical Nurse Supervisor for the South West London (SWL) and St. John Ambulance vaccination teams, it was a privilege and a pleasure to be part of such dynamic teams providing safe and successful service for the mass delivery of vaccinations.
Since the pandemic I have continued to work for the NHS SWL vaccination team and am currently working with the Hounslow & Richmond Community Health (HRCH) Immunisation team working in local schools within the Wandsworth and Merton Borough of London.
